The Wi-Free program will then divert your Internet traffic to our server over alternative protocols, which will further be sent to the specified destination point through standard protocols. Post this, our server will get the response and deliver it back to your computer by using the wi-fi connection, pushing away all the limitations of your local wi-fi network. With Wi-Free, the requirement of standard protocols (such as TCP/IP) abolishes and this is how our wifi software sets you. Access any open wifi connection and enjoy free travel internet access! However, ensure to use an apt wifi access point, so that uninterrupted internet connection can be maintained and enjoyed.

How to install

Plug in your Globe Sim, Smart Buddy Sim and Click Connect

Double click the Wi-free installer and follow the install wizard

Allow installation of the TAP Adapter Driver

Look for the Wi-Free program in your computer

Click Start> All Programs> Wi-free

If this appears, then just click YES

If you are using a GLOBE Sim Choose UDP

If using SMART Sim click TCP(New Settings as of August 7,2011)

Click Menu > Preferences > Proxy

Check Enable Parent Proxy Box.  Choose HTTP in Proxy Type

In Proxy IP put in these digits

10.102.61.46 port 8080

Click OK  ( See Illustation below)

Then Click START

This notification will appear.  Tick Don’t show it again then click OK

A Registration Page will open

 

Fill in your email address, username and password

Click Yes I have read and I accept Wi-free user agreement

Then Click sign up

Click Start again to be able to connect to the wi-free servers

Once connected you will automatically be connected to the Wi-free webpage and notify you that your guest account is over. This means that your computer has no problems in running Wi-free and you will need a voucher code to be able to access the internet. By this time you can already pay to get the voucher code
